IP address that we are using to c0nnect to the internet or local area netw0rk are all n0w auto obtain...

that auto obtain ip'z are called DHCP.. you can research it on the internet if you want..

this is done c0z of lack of ip addresses today...

there is a pool of ip address and when u are using internet you are obtaining that ip address to that pool and then c0mes back again when ur n0t using it anym0re..

THEREFORE...

I just want to give a technical clarification on the quoted sentence above. No, not every IP addresses are temporary. We have dynamic, and we have static IP addresses. Static IP addresses are those that do not change. Consider my IP address.

It's static. If this IP changes everytime I turn on my computer, you might not be able to connect to my server.

There's also LAN IP. Those that are playing inside my internet cafe don't have to use http://124.104.136.240/freerose/index.php to connect to our website. They can just use http://192.168.2.201/freerose/index.php or http://localhost/freerose/index.php

Notice the difference. Both connects to the same website. The first one needs internet connection. The second just needed some UTP cable and a router or hub. Both are STATIC IP addresses. They never change.

With PLDT, they give you a static IP address if you own a shop, or an internet cafe. However, if you're just subscribed to some Personal Package, most likely you will get a Dynamic IP address, which resets when you're computer is off for an extended period.

ok ok ok... sorry but what i noticed was the same IP address that changed names in just a matter of minutes...

i may be wrong and i ask forgiveness for it... the one without conscience may have done this because of such ENVY...
