if we do see the rankings and the opponents on the other side were all high lvls while you know that you're not, it is likely that you will suffer fear because you know your level is surely no match for them...
for the other team otherwise, if you know the other teams' levels then you will have enough confidence and of course its disadvantage, you will feel weak when you got owned by those people you expect to be "weak"

But if you are brave enough you just have to fight even though you know that your opponent is stronger than you. As others say, it's better to fight and die than quit and loss your honor. Even your opponent is stronger there are some other way you can defeat him or her like being a professional player(with good manners and right conduct "GMRC"^^) , or become fashioniista or a friendly player or just kill him or her in a stabber way hehehehehe.....
