PLAYER OF THE MONTH Empty PLAYER OF THE MONTH

It's been a long time since we first came up with this idea. And eversince I didn't had the luxury of time to write down the details of it. Now as we approach the year end, I would like this very promising event to come into reality.

The basic idea is to choose a player who deserves some form of rewards because he or she has been chosen by the community as the friendliest, most helpful, most fun to be with, and one that deserves to be given the title "Player of the Month".

Schedule of the event:
First week of the month: The GM's will choose the nominees.
Second week of the month: Nominees will be displayed on the site and players can start casting their votes.
Third week of the month: Voting continues for another week.
Fourth week of the month: Nominee who gets the most votes is declared "Player of the Month". Her character photo will be displayed at the main website and he or she will receive a fat reward.


Voting Mechanics:


  • Only characters with at least one STAR are allowed to vote. If you have an account with 3 characters and each has gained a STAR or more, then all your characters can cast votes.
  • Voting takes place in Junon Polis. All eligible voters will have to approach [GM]RoyalChief, and PM or Whisper his vote.
  • [GM]RoyalChief will manually record all your votes in his notebook.
  • All characters are allowed only 1 vote.
  • Players may change, retract, or cancel their votes for a certain nominee provided it is done on the first week of votation.

lol! riiiggghhhttt... but that depends on how you handle players.. i've seen so many friendly people ingame from scouts to champs, raiders or bourgs.. i don't know who am i goin to choose.. but i'll be observing all of you ingame on how you approach other players Razz

hmm.. yeah.. but that would be a very challenging task for a player to hold his/her title.. but that depends on the way other players see him/her.. just like the movie "Employee of the Month"..

Wow! This part would really convince a lot of players to stay as friendly as they could be... From Cleric to Mage down to other jobs...

For a fact that Cleric is the "friendliest"... There would be big chances for a cleric to win. But I can see other characters around who are not cleric but are so friendly and could possibly be nominated and win the said event.

It all depends on how you build a good relationship with other players ingame, so good luck!!!

And sir Terro, U have brilliant ideas!

This is a good event...i'm hoping the number of PKers will be reduced to half. i'm just hoping other players will not "abuse" the trying-to-be-nice-even-for-a-while players by "scamming" them and pushing their patience to the limits.

i wont agree with this idea...A REAL LIFE PHOTO???? this'll cause chaos hahahaha.
