The true reason kung bakit wala ang FreeROSE!!!

Maybe I am not the right authority to announce this one but I will just want to clear you up about what is happening here in FreeROSE.

There are lot of questions and opinions regarding the "temporary" shut down of FreeROSE. Now this time I will unleash it to you and roll the curtain up.

We had a conversation with admin this morning, maybe around 11:00. I asked him why our server is in offline. He answered to me that his internet connection was cut on about 10:30 a.m. due to unpaid bills for three months. Moreover, his bill is approximately Php 21,000. "There has'nt donations lately," he added. He also don't have money anymore because he used his savings last time GM alexa was hospitalized.

"I think everyone has the right to know what's going on.I will be posting this in our forums momentarily". he said.

I am waiting ADMIN to post an announcement but there was none yet. So, I'm here to inform everyone. Please understand now how badly we depend on player's donation.It's not just about the items we get, it's all about keeping FreeROSE alive.

"I'll find someone who can lend me money hopefully. I'm already looking for a way to deal with this," he concluded.

Please may I ask everyone's full,favorable,kind and usual understanding regarding this matter.

Rest assured that everything will be fine. ADMIN will make a way to solve this one as soon as possible and by the help of your donations also.

he can't do everything on his own. we should be helping him since we're benefitted by his endeavors.

For those people naman na may stock jan...maybe you could donate kahit pa-200 lang. nag-eenjoy naman tayong lahat sa server na "created" ni admin, so yung mga tao jan na may extrang "pesos", please do your part kahit maliit lang.

For those na walang-wala naman but willing to help...all we can do is to pray for ADMIN so that the Almighty will touch someone's heart to help him.

I apologize if I wasn't able to announce something this morning. I was just more concerned on finding a way to get our server back online and as soon as possible.. And thought maybe i'll just post later. What's still important for me is the thought, that somewhere.. a person has been waiting to play FreeROSE since this morning.

So anyhow.. immediately after I finished my conversation with CIDGE** this morning I hurriedly went to visit a close friend who also owns an internet cafe in our city. After learning about the situation, he gladly offered to host the server until I can get my connection back. We were busy this whole afternoon and evening setting up the server. From doing a clean format, installing a fresh operating system and updating it, installing the tools, the softwares, the database, and setting up FreeROSE itself..

Finally, we're online now. BUT, you won't be able to connect yet.. you still need to do just a little configuration in one of your files and you're good. So here's how..

First, you need to download lconfig.nhd

(to download it , simply right click, then "SAVE TARGET AS" or "SAVE LINK AS")

Place this file in your ROSEonline folder. You should be asked if you want to "overwrite", click YES. That's it! Nothing more..

Now, to visit the site.. Click on the link below:

Remember, nothing really changed except the IP address. My IP before is different, and we'd still be using that when PLDT gives me back my connection. I am happy how you have shown your support for FreeROSE. And please don't ever think we're going to shut down. If problems come along, we face it and find a way to solve it.. There's still a lot of things I haven't done yet in this game. One of them is to introduce the 4th Planet. Our new items are already on their way to your hands.. and soon, you'd be able to enjoy using them to kill monsters. A lot of things still in my head are waiting for my hands to code, and to create. And don't worry about me if I work too much, I'm loving it. If you're addicted to training your characters, this is my kind of addiction. Just help me pay the bills. Just help me keep FreeROSE alive.

I will also help you out maybe I can earn a little money and share it to our server...

HELP ME!!!

I would like everyone to understand, that FreeROSE server is temporarily being hosted in a location far from where I live. So it's not an easy thing to get online everytime you text asking for a reset or when CharServer is down. Until I can get my connection back, we might have to stay this way. And I'm doing my best to bring our operations back to normal as soon as possible. All my projects are also on halt as of the moment. As there is no way I can get online (ingame) at home to check the items and make modifications. We really don't have a choice but to sacrifice the progress of my work. Nevertheless, when everything's already good, and when my connection is re-established, my project can begin running smoothly and back on track again.
